While it feels like a destination getaway, it is accessible by car, train, or ferry.By Car Montauk is approximately:2.5–3 hours from NYC (traffic dependent)1.5–2 hours from JFK or LaGuardiaTake the Long Island Expressway (I-495 East) to Exit 70, then follow Route 111 South and Route 27 East all the way to Montauk.Parking is available at most hotels and in public lots throughout town.
